Dion Abadi

The Abadi family name is based in Arabic and refers to someone whose ancestors belonged to the Abbad tribe. The sephardic Jews adopted this Arabic surname and changed it to Abadi.

A Sephardi Jew is a Jew who is descended from the Jews who lived in the Iberian Peninsula int he 1400s, just before the issuance of the Alhambra Decree of 1492.
